Our Founder & Director, Rory, started Flash with a decade’s experience in air conditioning
Our Founder and Director, Rory Boland, started Flash Air Conditioning & Electrical in 2018. After spending more than a decade working in the industry and having grown up in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane, he decided to go out on his own. He started Flash Air Conditioning & Electrical because he wanted to do things differently.
As a dual-qualified electrician and air conditioning and refrigeration mechanic, Rory wanted to create an air conditioning and electrical business that really partnered with its customers. Today, he’s done just that. At Flash, you’ll always understand breaks and repairs, and when it comes to new installations, you’ll feel confident you’ve selected the very best system for your home or business.
Rory Boland
Rory is a dual-qualified electrician and air conditioning and refrigeration mechanic who spent his apprenticeship working with small to large commercial and industrial air conditioning units. He realised he could offer better convenience to his clients if he did electrical connections in tandem with air conditioning installations. It’s where Flash started, the idea that he could offer clients a one-stop solution.
During his electrical apprenticeship, Rory worked in the residential industry, working in new builds and high-end renovations – in fact, in 2016, he was part of an award-winning renovation team. This is where he grew a real passion for the design aspect of electrical work. When he finished his apprenticeship, with two trades under his toolbelt, he went out and started Flash Air Conditioning & Electrical – we’ve been delighting clients ever since.
